We know times have been crazy right now due to this pandemic but we want you to know that Aesthetic Sports is here to help!

Check out these 5 tips to mentally stay healthy during this time!

How to stay mentally healthy:

1. Connect with others! Although we are all practicing social distancing, hopping on a phone call or FaceTime with friends and family can lift your spirits and give you the opportunity to talk about how you are feeling through these times.

2.Rest. Sleep is extremely important for your mental health. While it may be hard for you to fall asleep at night, try turning off the tv and the phone 30 minutes before bedtime to allow your eyes and mind to rest. Listening to meditations or reading also helps ease your mind!

3. Take care of your body. Get up and moving to create blood flow and release endorphins into your bloodstream! A walk around the block or maybe an at-home workout can instantly lift your spirits. Also eating healthy foods and cooking can help keep you busy and healthy from the inside out.

4. Get outside and exposure to sunshine! Staying inside all day can weigh heavy on you, so take a step outside and soak up some rays!

5. Practice gratitude. Write down 10 things you are thankful for every day whether it be part of your morning routine or bedtime routine. This will help you focus on the positive and think about what you DO have. We all have a lot more to be thankful for than we know!
